Christine Fahl was elected to the Cedar Springs City Council in November 2008. She currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem and serves on the Council Personnel & Compensation, the Local Government Liaison and Council Finance Committees.
She is a 1984 graduate of Cedar Springs High School where she served as a class officer and sat on the Student Council. From 1987-1989 Christine served as a volunteer firefighter on the Cedar Springs Fire Department. Currently she is a Labor Relations Specialist for Service Employees International Union – Local 517M, where she has been employed since 1999.
Christine is a very proud mother of 2 children – Brittini (23) and Shayn (18). In her free time, she enjoys reading, working in her flower gardens, boating and spending time with family and friends.
