Director Donna Clark
Library Director, Donna Clark, grew up in Mustang, OK where she graduated from high school and attended one year of college in Oklahoma City, while working her way though as a nurse’s assistant at a local hospital. From Oklahoma she transferred to Cedar Springs, where she met and married Dan, her husband of 36 years. The Clarks have four children, Daneille, Shianne, Joshua and Tamar.
In 1976 Donna graduated from Jordan College with a BA, majoring in English and Religion, and then in 1977 from GVSU with a teaching certificate for grades 7-8, all subjects and 9-12 in English and Psychology.
Donna is active in the Lakeland Library Cooperative, where Cedar Springs Public Library is a member along with 40 other main libraries in Western Michigan. She is also a member of Michigan Library Association.Locally she is a member of Rotary, Women’s Club, Community Action Network, Kent Theatre Association, Red Flannel Queen Scholarship Committee and attends City Council and Solon Township meetings in her capacity as Library Director. Donna enjoys networking with residents, local businesses, area schools and churches. Her motto is, “Together we can do more.”
