City of Cedar Springs

Each year since 2007, the City has awarded property owners who take exceptional care of their properties with professional photography, gift baskets, and gift cards to V&V Nursery.  There are three catagories: Residential, Commercial and Mayor’s Choice.  The Residential and Commercial Winners are selected by the members of the Cedar Springs Garden Club while the seated Mayor selects the third recipient of the award.  Judging generally takes place around the 2nd week in July. The same property cannot win more than once, so once the threat of frost has passed get out those garden gloves, separate those perennials and happy gardening.  You may just be the recipient of a City Beautification Award!
